Growing up, one of my favourite toys was a homemade Care Bear that my Mum had given me. I love Care Bears, and I have a little bit of a collection going on. I’ve always thought that a Care Bear in real life would actually be rather terrifying! I’ve spent hours imagining an encounter with Grumpy Bear and then decided to share my wonderings with the world. I figured this bear probably just needs a cuddle, and I have aptly named him, Bad Day Bear.

All prints are printed onto HP Photo Paper, 240gsm paper. Printed using an Epson-XP-15000 using 6 individual ink cartridges and ink droplets as small as 1.5 picolitres due to the MicroPiezo print head. Individual 6 colour Claria Photo HD Ink – includes Red and Gray inks for an ultra wide colour gamut.

Most frames are rescued from the second hand store, hand painted, hand varnished and then lovely repurposed with a print.
Care Tips
Care Tips
To prevent fading, I recommend keeping out of direct sunlight or framing in a UV protective frame. As most of the frames are hand painted and recycled, they have preloved marks and spots. Be careful with these, they are delicate.
